As Your Birth Doula, I Offer

Free Consultation

I offer a free, no obligation "Meet and Greet", so that we can get to know one another. Then you and your partner can take a day or two to decide if I am the birth doula for you. There's no pressure, and there will be no commitment at that time.

Phone and E-Mail Support

If you and your partner decide that I am the birth doula for you, I will be in constant support through the phone and e-mail. If you ever have any concerns or needs, I will be there to help you in every way possible.

Prenatal Visits

Once you and your partner decide that I am the birth doula for you, I will meet with you and your partner a couple weeks before your EDD (estimated due date), to become aquainted, explore and discuss your priorities, any fears or concerns, to discuss your birth plan, and to plan for the "big day", and how we will work best together.

We may also decide on other meetings, and I will certainly want to remain in contact by phone or e-mail.

As Your Birth Doula, I am Unable To...

Perform Clinical Tasks

As your birth doula, I can not perform any clinical tasks, such as blood pressure, fetal heart monitoring, or vaginal exams. I am only able to provide physical comfort measures, and emotional support for you and your partner.

Make Decisions For You

As your birth doula, I can not make decisions for you. I will help you get the necessary information that you need for you to make educated, informed decisions. I will also remind you if there is a departure from your birth plan. It is important to me for you to be in charge of your birth experience.

Project My Beliefs

As your birth doula, I am not there to make it my experience, or have my beliefs to be a part of your experience. I am a support and comfort person for you and your partner.
